Why would you look feminine when you shave your face? You had no facial hair for many years before you had it and people still knew you were a boy. Just keep shaving so when you want to grow you facial hair, it will be nice and thick.

You would only look feminine if you shave if you looked feminine before you started getting facial hair! And trust me, in highschool facial hair is nasty!

First don't shave with a pink Bic disposable razor blade!

Second don't let your mother teach you how to shave, even if it is you sister's boyfriend, find a guy who will teach you to shave. Hopefully your father is around but if he isn't, find someone who you find masculine.

Next: Buy a nice razor at the mall, preferably one with a wood or solid metal handle, something that matches your personal tastes. You can find them in department stores (usually by the men's fragrances), tobacco shops, and cutlery stores. Try to avoid getting the razors that they sell in the packages with the razor blades, they have zero class. The more old school, the more sophisticated.

Check your face every day, shave even if you have stubble in a small area, nothing turns the ladies off more than a guy who has patchy beard. Don't try to grow facial hair until later, it doesn't work for guys who are still in high school.

Make a ritual out of shaving every morning after you get out of the shower. Many women think that a guy who takes the time to shave and do it properly looks sexy while he does it. There few other ways to exert more of a masculine persona.
